Operations
The purpose and role of the Colors Operations Division is to provide all operational services, facilities and capacity to get fruit from the farm gate into an export container. This needs to be done on time and on specification to fully satisfy market requirements and to ensure an optimum revenue for the producer.
It comprises of mainly fruit packhouses and the accompanying up- and downstream support functions, e.g. cooling, storage and despatch. This integrated function then forms the physical “bridge” between the farm and the market.
The ultimate strive for all the operational units is to truly serve as centres of excellence. We take meticulous care of every box of fruit as though it is our only box of fruit. In the pursuit to realise this goal the individual operational units are driven by the following key success factors:

The Operations Division is a big user and custodian of resources (human, physical and natural) and is therefore dedicated to ensure sustainability, which responds to the following challenges:
